SUN SHINE Accompanies the Project “Life Is Still Beautiful”
Inspired by the character Luyen from the television drama “Life Is Still Beautiful”, actress Thanh Huong and musician Duong Truong Giang have launched a project bearing the same name as the series. “Life Is Still Beautiful” is envisioned as a musical initiative featuring both refreshed renditions of existing songs and newly composed tracks.
The artists will embark on performance tours across various regions of Vietnam, which will be recorded, produced into music videos, and shared online. More than just a musical endeavor, the project embodies profound humanitarian values and aims to foster community engagement. A portion of the project’s proceeds will be allocated to charitable activities, supporting families and children in highland and underserved areas.
With this noble mission at heart, SUN SHINE is deeply honored to join hands with the two artists in this meaningful project. We are committed to contributing fresh musical experiences to fans while also taking concrete steps toward impactful charitable initiatives.
On December 21, 2022, actress Thanh Huong and musician Duong Truong Giang hosted the launch event for the “Life Is Still Beautiful” project at Skyline – 36A Hoang Cau Street, Cho Dua Ward, Dong Da District, Hanoi. The event welcomed a number of notable guests, including: actress Luong Giang, actress Luu Huyen Trang, singers Duong Tran Nghia and Phuong Thuy, actor Quang Anh, MC Manh Khang, as well as SUN SHINE and other organizing partners.
Thanh Huong is a familiar face on Vietnamese television, known for her lead roles in numerous prime-time dramas aired on VTV. She has captivated audiences through acclaimed works such as “The Arbitrator” (Nguoi Phan Xu), “Quynh the Doll” (Quynh Bup Be), “Living with Mother-in-Law”, “Fate” (Sinh Tu), “The Days We Cannot Forget”, “Back to Blooming Season”, and “Life Is Still Beautiful”, among others.
Thanh Huong has also been a long-time companion of SUN SHINE in various community projects. Notably, she played a key role in the “Hello Saitama” Vietnam Festival held in Japan in September 2023. When Thanh Huong shared her vision for the “Life Is Still Beautiful” project, we were immediately enthusiastic and supportive of its heartfelt message.
SUN SHINE wishes to collaborate with the two artists in bringing soulful “spiritual gifts” to the public—enriching emotional lives in a heartfelt, simple, and touching way—while actively participating in meaningful, community-centered efforts.
